George Clooney has praised his Ocean’s Eleven co-star Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie for using their popularity to highlight important issues around the world.

He said recently: “I couldn’t be more proud to be their friend. They’re really committed to bring attention to good causes.”

“They have a very smart theory: if the cameras are going to follow them, they’re going to go places where the cameras could do some good. I think it’s a great idea.”
