Brad Pitt once stated that he and the unmarried mother of his children Angelina Jolie would like have eight kids. More adoption in the works for the rock star couple - it certainly sounds like it. In a new interview at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday, the actor told People magazine that he and Angelina Jolie want another sibling for Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh.

"Always, of course," he said. "We'll let you know when we get there."

Pitt also revealed that the ever expanding family will be setting up shop in the 'Big Easy' at least for a while. "I do like it there," Pitt said. "It's one of our most unique cities and it certainly needs some help right now. I know it will do fine, and the people are just fantastic."

Pitt has visited New Orleans for the Hurricane Katrina recovery effort, cosponsoring with Global Green USA a contest to find an eco-friendly plan for housing and community centers. He also has been working with organizations helping AIDS orphans.

In separate adoption news, Jolie tenders a light slap at fellow third world adopter Madonna. Us Weekly notes that in the February issue of Elle U.K., Jolie, 31, says that she’s avoided adopting from the country due to the ambiguity of its adoption laws, as Madonna did last year.

Madge has been taking criticism for the adoption ever since. "That’s a tough one," Jolie muses to the magazine. "I mean, I’m sure their hearts are in the right place. But the reality is, Malawi is a country...Well, it’s not on our list, because there’s a very limited number of countries you can adopt from."
