Orphanage Says No Adoption for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

A Vietnamese orphanage has slammed reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed papers to adopt from their facility. Last week SFGate.com reported that the superstar pair had filed papers to adopt a boy from Tam Bihn orphanage.

The couple, who visited the orphanage in November, have said they want to have at least six children. According to Star magazine, the pair have not been back the orphanage since their first visit.

The director of the orphanage contradicted these reports by saying, "We would be very happy if a child here can be adopted; they will have a better life with their adoptive parents than in here. However, if foreigners want to adopt a Vietnamese child, they will have to follow Vietnamese laws. If they want to adopt a Vietnamese child, only one of the two can come forward and apply for the adoption."

The pair, who have been together over two years and appear to have no plans to marry.

Pitt and Jolie have three children, Five year-old Maddox was born in Cambodia, 2 year old Zahara was born and in Ethiopia. Shiloh is there 6 month old birth daughter.

The family recently bought a home in Katrina ravaged New Orleans. Pitt is currently filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in the crescent city. This is his second film with Babel costar, Cate Blanchett.
